CHS Art Department
The CHS Art students are creating and designing Illuminated Name Plaques in class this week. Students have studied the ancient lettering of medieval monks from the 1800's. For this project, students have hand-drawn fancy block lettering on mat board that was donated by Sharon Longbine from the hometown store "Custom For You"! Students decorated lettering with a variety of inks, including silver & gold paints. Students' artwork is displayed in the main hallway trophy cases of the Childress High School.
